Demand better from renting in Norwich

For too long renters have had a bad deal. We’ve been evicted for no reason, put up with bad landlords and are forced to live in damp, shoddy homes despite rising rents.

We look at the state of renting and say: enough is enough.

It doesn't have to be like this.

The government has promised a new law which will change renting for good. The introduction of the Renters' Reform Bill is a once-in-a-generation chance for us to win the security and rights we deserve.

We need Norwich's MPs to support the government to make sure this new law scraps unfair Section 21 ‘no-fault’ evictions and creates a landlord register – so the stress and anxiety that come with the uncertainty of renting finally ends.

Enough is enough: call on Norwich MPs to back the bill and provide security for all the private renters in our city.
