Demand better from renting in Plymouth

For too long renters have had a bad deal. We’ve been evicted for no reason, put up with bad landlords and are forced to live in shoddy homes.

We look at the state of renting and we say: enough is enough.

The government has promised a new law which will change renting for good. The introduction of the Renters' Reform Bill is a once-in-a-generation chance for us to win the security and rights we deserve.

We need Plymouth's MPs to support the government to make sure this new law scraps unfair Section 21 ‘no-fault’ evictions and creates a landlord register – so the stress and anxiety that come with the uncertainty of renting finally ends.

Enough is enough: call on Plymouth MPs to back the Bill and provide security for all the private renters in our city.
