Build social housing, end the housing emergency.

Did you know social homes cost a third of private rents in England on average?

People in social housing have more rights and their rent goes back to councils and housing associations to reinvest in upkeeping and building more social homes. Because they’re so affordable and secure, they are the only way to end homelessness – but we’ve barely built any for years.

The government has a big opportunity in 2025 to fix our broken housing system for good. In June, they must decide how much money they spend on social housing for the next five years.

With 161,500 children homeless in expensive and often poor-quality temporary accommodation, the situation is dire, and it’s getting worse. There are 71,000 more children living like this than there were a decade ago.  Let's get the government investing big in social housing and living up to their promise of change in 2025.

Add your name to the campaign to build more social housing: so a new generation can be proud to say “We are Made in Social Housing”.
