Let's win change for renters

The government have brought forward a new piece of legislation - the Renters’ Rights Bill - to strengthen renters rights. You can help make sure it’s as strong as possible.

Home is our foundation. It’s the roots that help us build a thriving and healthy life. But right now, too many private renters are denied this foundation because the system is stacked against them: Nearly 26,000 households were threatened with homelessness due to a section 21 eviction last year.

This new Renters' Rights Bill must be a new chapter for rental reform. The chance to give every renter the roots to grow.

Our new Government must finally kickstart the change that renters need. We know the current system is broken, but we also know it can be fixed. They've promised to scrap Section 21 no-fault evictions 'straight away' and make sure renters are "better off". But we need to turn these promises into cold, hard law.

Join the campaign to fix renting today.

Together, we demand protections against unjust evictions and measures to prevent extortionate rent hikes, making sure renting is a stable, more secure option. This means the government could reduce the pressure on social housing waiting lists and reduce homelessness.

We won’t stop at the bare minimum: we need robust reform to turn manifesto promises into tangible change for 11 million renters across the country. Find out more below
