The councillor open letter, calling on the Prime Minister and Chancellor to get councils building social homes at scale again, has been signed by almost 1200 councillors.
It is being handed in at Downing Street on 15 October, to demonstrate the huge support the campaign has from councils across the country, ahead of the Autumn Budget.
