Tell Norwich City Council to make good on their affordable housing promises!
Now more than ever, we need affordable housing. In 2019 our councillors promised to make sure 33% of all large housing developments are affordable to local people, but is this happening? No! The current Anglia Square planning application falls far short, with a measly commitment to just 10% affordable housing.
Rent rates continue to rocket, hundreds are still living in unfit housing and people are being forced to leave their city.
If you live in Norwich you can help. Add in your postcode and this tool will create an email to each member of the Planning Committee, urging them to make good on their promise. Ask them to reject this application and enforce their own policy of 33% of all large housing developments being truly affordable.
