Tell the new government to kickstart a housing legacy

100 days for the government to prove it will act on housing

This new government promised change. But it's on us to make sure they prove it.

They promised to review the Right to Buy policy, reform for renters, and the biggest increase in social housing in a generation.

It’s a welcome step in the right direction. But England's housing emergency needs change now.

We demand bold, decisive action that truly resets the system for real people.  That’s why we’re issuing a challenge to kickstart their housing legacy in 100 days.

Will you add your name and show the government you’re counting on them to rise to the challenge?

Call on them to make these changes in their first 100 days to fix renting, and kickstart the biggest increase in social and affordable housebuilding in a generation:

  • immediately freeze Right to Buy and do a full review of the policy
  • arm councils with the funding, capacity and tools they need to build directly
  • hold developers to account by including a nationally set 20% minimum social housing requirement on large sites
  • bring forward robust legislation to reform the private rented sector, giving renters stability in their homes, and tackling runaway rents

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and we can’t end the housing emergency in one. But these changes are achievable in 100 days and would be a huge step forward.

With your help, we can hold them accountable and demand real change.

Add your name today, and pledge your support for the 100 Days Housing Challenge. For a brighter housing future.
