We never thought we’d be so glad to see the summer holidays end.

While everything changed in Westminster, people have been stuck in mouldy, broken homes, struggling to make ends meet. Too many other people have been sleeping on the streets. And many are on the brink of losing their home, with record rents and sky-high bills.

This is the housing emergency. The good news is, you've got a ready-made plan to fix it:

  • The Renters’ Reform Bill will give renters the rights and security they need.  
  • The Social Housing Regulation Bill will finally put social tenants' safety first.  
  • The Levelling Up Bill can deliver the affordable social housing we desperately need.  
  • We await a strategy to end rough sleeping by 2024.
